Clean hotel, efficient staff, good and fantastic location 5min by walk from restaurants. Delicious and plentiful breakfast selection with yoghurt and a nice view on the garden, for example. Location just off the neat and well manicured garden, the different activities, and St Lucia from Pretoria. Personalized service and good value. Everything perfect. Very relaxing stay, as always.

Positively surprised by this 4-star hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and gave me a late check-in. The room was tastefully decorated and the dining room had a lovely atmosphere. The highlight was waking up to the view of hippos in the street after a night game drive. The manager, Dieter, went above and beyond, providing valuable information about the area and making sure I had a great experience. The breakfast was outstanding and they even offered a well-prepared lunch pack for early game drives. The spacious rooms with high ceilings and the cozy garden with a pool added to the luxurious and comfortable stay.

The guest rooms at iGwalagwala are individually decorated and air-conditioned, making them perfect for relaxing after a busy day. I loved how sunny the rooms were, and they had everything I needed, like an air conditioner, refrigerator, and a kettle. The private bathroom with a rainfall showerhead and complimentary toiletries made me feel pampered during my stay.
Personally, I found the seating area in certain rooms to be a bit cramped.

We had a fantastic stay at Igwalagwala Guest House! the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with attention to detail. the location was perfect, situated on a quiet street but just a short walk away from restaurants. We especially appreciated the availability of internet, TV, and fridge in our room. the housekeeping staff did an outstanding job keeping our room spotless. We even had the chance to spot rare, endemic chameleons in the garden. the secure gated parking was an added bonus. a wonderful experience and we can't wait to come back!
Nothing, no complaints at all. 👍.

Additionally, the hotel was surrounded by a beautiful garden that was immaculately maintained. The staff was also incredibly helpful and accommodating, providing me with all the information I needed to make the most of my stay. Finally, I was impressed with how clean the hotel facilities and parking area were.
Nothing bad to say.

The pool was a great place to cool off from the heat during our Christmas stay. We appreciated having air conditioning in our room too. The breakfast had a few good options, and we never left feeling hungry. The location was convenient and close to restaurants and shops.
Our room wasn't very clean when we arrived. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, and there were some cobwebs in the corners of the room.

Located in a peaceful area, this guest house is just a few steps away from the main street and several restaurants. Our room was large, but lacked the modern touch mentioned in other reviews. the bathroom was old and needed an update, although it was clean. the service was average and breakfast was just passable. There was no mention of a swimming pool and we didn't receive any information about local tours.
The bathroom was outdated and in need of renovation, which didn't live up to our expectations.
